"Boilers get serviced every year" — not quite
The maintenance schedule is set by the manufacturer in your model's manual. For some it's annual, for others it isn't: applying your neighbour's rule from memory is the surest way to book a service when it isn't due, or skip one when it is.

How often the RCEE needs redoing
The energy efficiency inspection report follows intervals set by DPR 74/2013, which vary by fuel type and output. These are the dates ToriSet reminds you of.

What we get asked most.
Does a boiler have to be serviced every year?
There's no single national interval that applies to everyone: the regulations point back to the manufacturer's instructions, so the correct schedule is the one written in your model's manual — which for many boilers does turn out to be annual, but not for all of them. ToriSet takes that schedule and turns it into a date with its own reminder.
What's the difference between maintenance and RCEE?
Maintenance is the periodic job set out by the manufacturer. The RCEE is the energy efficiency inspection report, with intervals set by DPR 74/2013 that depend on output and fuel type: they're two different deadlines, and in ToriSet they stay two separate entries on the same record.
Does this cover pellet stoves and heat pumps too?
Yes. Biomass stoves and boilers follow the schedule in the manufacturer's manual and, above the output thresholds, have their own RCEE; heat pumps and air conditioning have their own intervals too. It all sits in the same logbook.
Does ToriSet replace the plant logbook?
No. The logbook required under DM 10/02/2014 remains the formal document, with its own templates and regional channels. ToriSet keeps the plant's history in digital form — jobs, dates, reports attached — so when you need to fill something in or show it to someone, it's all at hand.
