Italian kit for employers and operators of activities subject to fire-prevention controls. Covers the fire-safety register, the evacuation drill, the emergency plan, fire warden refresher training, checks on the hydrant and hose-reel network and on emergency lighting, and the periodic fire-safety conformity renewal. It does NOT cover portable extinguishers (UNI 9994-1) or fire doors (UNI 11473), already in the catalogue: those deadlines are logged in the same fire-safety register.

Renew conformity every 10 years for activities 6, 7, 8, 64, 71, 72 and 77
For the activities listed under numbers 6, 7, 8, 64, 71, 72 and 77 of Annex I to DPR 151/2011 the five-year renewal cycle is extended to ten years, with identical content and filing procedure at the Fire Brigade Command. The evidence is the filing receipt. Applies only to those activities: where the same file also covers activities on a five-year cycle, the shorter cycle prevails, so check the activity number shown on the fire-safety certificate or notice.

Pressure-test hose reels and wall hydrant hoses
Every five years all semi-rigid hose-reel piping and flexible wall-hydrant hoses must be tested at maximum working pressure in accordance with UNI EN 671-1 and 671-2. The evidence is the hose test certificate, with an entry in the fire-safety register. Applies to activities fitted with hose reels or wall hydrants using semi-rigid or flexible hoses. Check the hydrant and hose-reel network
Qualified personnel check, at least every six months, the working order of the hydrant network and hose-reel components, including delivery tests with flow and pressure measurement and the condition of the installation environment. The evidence is the inspection report, with the outcome entered in the fire-safety register. Applies to buildings and activities fitted with wall hydrants, above- or below-ground hydrants or fire hose reels. Cadence to be confirmed on the cited source.

Refresh the fire wardens' training
Designated fire wardens must attend refresher courses at least every five years: 2 hours (1-AGG) for level 1 activities, 5 hours (2-AGG) for level 2 and 8 hours (3-AGG) for level 3, with the first refresher within five years of the last training. The evidence is the individual refresher certificate, kept together with the appointment letter. Applies to every company that has designated fire wardens; the course level depends on the activity classification under Annex III, and activities listed in Annex IV also require the fire brigade's technical fitness certificate.

Cover the deadlines outside this kit with the product kits
This kit covers management: register, evacuation drill, emergency plan, training, hydrants, lighting and conformity renewal. The deadlines tied to individual fire-safety products live in the dedicated kits — extinguishers (UNI 9994-1), fire doors (UNI 11473), detection and alarm (UNI 11224), emergency lighting (UNI CEI 11222) — and must be switched on where those devices exist. The employer checks once a year that no family of installations is left uncovered; the entries all land in the same register.

Keep the fire-safety control register up to date
The employer records in a register the periodic checks and the maintenance work on fire-safety systems, equipment and installations, at the intervals set by the relevant technical standards and by the use and maintenance manual; in parallel, trained workers carry out surveillance with checklists. The evidence is the register itself, signed by whoever performs each check. Applies to every workplace with fire-safety systems, equipment or installations, in particular to activities subject to fire-prevention controls.

File the periodic fire-safety conformity renewal
Every five years the operator files with the Fire Brigade Command the periodic fire-safety conformity renewal: a declaration that safety conditions are unchanged, with the qualified technician's certification and documentation on the efficiency of fire-safety systems, devices and equipment. The evidence is the Command's filing receipt. Applies to operators of the activities listed in Annex I to DPR 151/2011 (categories A, B and C), except those whose cycle is extended to ten years.

Functionally test the emergency lighting
At least every six months the emergency lighting units must be functionally tested: switch-on when mains power is cut, integrity, cleanliness and illuminated escape signage. The evidence is the inspection sheet recording the outcome and any anomalies corrected. Applies to all buildings and activities with an emergency lighting installation, which in practice means every activity subject to fire-prevention controls and every workplace with escape routes.

Align extinguisher maintenance with UNI 9994-1:2024
Since 25 July 2024 UNI 9994-1:2024 has been in force, replacing the 2013 edition and updating the maintenance stages for fire extinguishers. Many contracts, registers and forms still in circulation quote the old version: the employer checks that the maintenance firm applies and cites the current edition and that the register entries match the updated stages. This is an internal alignment task, not a new technical deadline: the intervals by extinguisher type live in the dedicated kit.

Keep the emergency plan up to date
The employer draws up and keeps updated the emergency plan covering the actions to take in case of fire, escape procedures, how to call the fire brigade, measures for people with special needs, the names of designated responders and the floor plans. The plan must be updated whenever anything changes that could affect prevention and protection measures, with workers informed and responders involved; the evidence is the dated plan with the current responder list. Applies to workplaces with at least 10 workers, premises open to the public with more than 50 people present at the same time, and the activities in Annex I to DPR 151/2011, with simplified measures for smaller premises not subject to fire-prevention controls.

Run the evacuation drill
Where an emergency plan is required, workers take part in at least one fire drill a year covering escape and first-response procedures; the alarm raised during the drill must not actually be routed to the fire brigade. The employer documents the drill with a report stating date, times and issues found. Applies to workplaces with at least 10 workers, to premises open to the public with more than 50 people present at the same time, and to the activities listed in Annex I to DPR 151/2011.

Test the emergency lighting autonomy
Once a year a general check including an autonomy test must be carried out: each luminaire must stay lit on battery for its full declared autonomy, typically 1 hour, and non-compliant units must be repaired or replaced. The evidence is the general check and autonomy test report. Applies to all buildings with an emergency lighting installation, whether self-contained units or centrally supplied.
